
Yoga flows and steel mace conditioning are paired together for a powerful practice!
We follow the PRIME, CONDITION, FLOW structure of Steel Mace Vinyasa, this is a moderate to high intensity class depending on your level of experience.
We begin with a warm up of 15-20 minutes joint mobility and unloaded yoga flows
This leads into our Conditioning Rounds, this is where we up the intensity and train with a specific focus and sharpen mace mechanics.
We then lessen the intensity and step into a yoga flow under the load of the mace, then include an unloaded flow to build strength and confidence in the poses
Finally we finish class with a few decompensation stretches and focused time for savasana 5-10 minutes at the end of each class.
Don’t worry if you’re new to steel mace, modifications will be made available.
This is an empowering practice that invites you to illicit flow state while also tapping into a deeper sense of purpose utilizing functional movement patterns while wielding ancient weaponry.
